On June 24th, a boat tour with Welcome drinks is planned to provide an overview of Istanbul, a metropolitan city of 17 million people. The tour will pass by many of the city’s iconic monuments, such as Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Feriye Palaces, Küçüksu Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Rumeli Fortress as well as glamorous neighborhoods.
This photo is taken from the book Istanbul: The Ultimate Guide, written by Saffet Emre Tonguç. It represents one of the most comprehensive studies of the Bosphorus. The journey begins at Cankurtaran and the Sea Walls on the European side of the Historic Peninsula, following the Bosphorus up to Rumeli Feneri and covering 21 different areas. On the Anatolian side, it starts from the southernmost point in Kadıköy and Moda, continuing along the northern shore to Anadolu Feneri, with stops in another 13 areas.
