Bosphorus Cruise

On June 24, we are organizing a Bosphorus boat tour for conference participants, including welcome drinks and dinner (€70) taking place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This scenic event offers a unique introduction to Istanbul, a vibrant metropolis of over 17 million residents.

The cruise will pass by many of the city’s iconic landmarks, such as:

  • Dolmabahçe Palace

  • Çırağan Palace

  • Feriye Palaces

  • Küçüksu Pavilion

  • Beylerbeyi Palace

  • Rumeli Fortress

  • ...as well as several glamorous waterfront neighborhoods.

Transportation will be provided by bus from the conference venue to the cruise departure point. Payment will be made at the boat entrance, either by credit card or in cash (euros only). Children under 12 may attend free of charge. The transportation route and pickup details will be announced in the coming days.

We warmly encourage you to join this memorable evening on the Bosphorus.

This photo is taken from the book Istanbul: The Ultimate Guide, written by Saffet Emre Tonguç. It represents one of the most comprehensive studies of the Bosphorus. The journey begins at Cankurtaran and the Sea Walls on the European side of the Historic Peninsula, following the Bosphorus up to Rumeli Feneri and covering 21 different areas. On the Anatolian side, it starts from the southernmost point in Kadıköy and Moda, continuing along the northern shore to Anadolu Feneri, with stops in another 13 areas.
